Jackson - Butts Council for the Arts Meeting

We will meet at 5:30 PM (NOTE THE TIME CHANGE) at Daughtry Foundation Building, 221 College Street in Jackson, enjoy appetizers and receive our team assignments. Then we will begin our Hunt….What better way to become familiar with several art installations and fun art facts within our community than to search for them while getting to know other members and pooling our knowledge and resources! We promise that no one’s body or brain will be overly exerted! ? When the Hunt is completed, or time has elapsed, we will return to Daughtry to enjoy a pizza and salad buffet, plus dessert, and to have the Judge determine the winning team. Of course, we will also conduct a business meeting following our supper so we can share information on all the happenings, upcoming events and involvements of the council.

Members are asked to bring an appetizer, salad or dessert to share. Hosting for the evening will be some of the Executive Officers: Freida Kutcher, Laura Richardson, and Stuart Jordan. Iced tea and water will be provided; you may bring other beverages of your choice. Invite a friend to come along to learn how the Arts Council supports the Arts in our community, and how they, and you, can become more involved. Good food, good fun, good art and good people = better community!
