Jackson Lake Poker Run

We are currently planning the annual Jackson Lake Poker Run, “Play it Safe on the Water” to be held on Saturday, June 17, 2022, on Jackson Lake. This event is a fundraiser for non-profit groups in each of the 3 counties around Jackson Lake: Jasper, Newton, and Butts. It promotes boating safety and encourages having a designated skipper to help keep the waterways on Jackson Lake safe. Participants register at one of the 3 marinas, receive directions to 6 docks dispersed on Jackson Lake, and receive a sealed envelope with a playing card enclosed and giveaways from each dock sponsor. All participants reconvene at Reasor's Landing in Butts County, where they receive lunch and tally the cards to see who has the best hand. Live music, provided by Noah Teal & the Express, will bring this fun-filled day to an end, and the winners will be announced.
