The Butts County Chamber of Commerce supports the

BUTTS COUNTY SPLOST 8

The SPLOST 8 is a continuance of the special local option sales tax for Butts County.  Between 55% and 60% of SPLOST pennies are collected at our interstate exits, Exit 201 and Exit 205.  This means that our county benefits greatly from these funds that are paid for from people traveling through our county.

New projects that support Butts County are included in the SPLOST 8.  These projects are based on feedback that our local leaders received from our local community.

Some of these projects include:

1. A new animal control facility.
2. An updated E-911 facility.
3. A recreation multipurpose facility for the recreation department.
4. 2 new fire stations.
5. Transportation bypass contribution.
6. Water/Wastewater facilities and equipment.

Be sure to vote YES for the Butts C8.ounty SPLOST 8 .
